Funding Your Wallet

Note: The Sepolia Testnet would require some SepoliaETH. Ensure your wallet is funded before proceeding to the “Bridge”. Let’s go get some test tokens from the Faucet!

What is Faucets?

Faucets are essential tools in the testnet environment. They distribute a small amount of testnet Ether, enabling developers and users to set up and test products. Although testnets don't involve real Ethereum, you still need testnet ETH Tokens to handle GAS fees.

Acquiring Sepolia Faucet Tokens

As the Vessel Testnet operates on Sepolia, it utilizes SepoliaETH as its native currency. To interact with Vessel, you will need SepoliaETH. Obtain free SepoliaETH from:

Using Alchemy as an example:

  1. Register and log in at the Alchemy website.

  2. Enter your wallet address.

  3. Click "Send me ETH."

  4. You will receive testnet tokens in your wallet shortly.

Once you have received your SepoliaETH, you are ready to start engaging with Vessel.

Obtaining Test Tokens

Ensure you have sufficient SepoliaETH in your wallet. You can now request virtual assets (USDT, USDC, and WBTC) on the Faucet page. To prevent excessive claims, there is a limit: each user can request each type of test token once per day.

If you require additional test tokens or have any inquiries, please contact us at gm@vessel.finance.
